Ged a tha na cànain Cheilteach eadar-dhealaichte nam briathrachasan fhèin tha iad glè choltach nan seanfhaclan agus tuigse an t-saoghail cheudna, a dh’aindeoin diubhras nan cànan. Tha mi air seanfhaclan a thrusadh bhon leabhar “A Collection of Gaelic Proverbs and Familiar Phrases Based on MacIntosh’s Collection”, a' toirt sùil air Gàidhlig agus Cuimris, a thaisbeanadh dhuibh ar coltasan anns ar seanfhaclan.
