Natural description

Several ballads contain thumb-nail sketches of the countryside in which the action occurs (as in the opening quatrains of Poem XIII).  Only one item, Poem XV, is devoted solely to a celebration of nature.  Its main concern is with the principal sounds of the countryside, with some degree of emphasis on birdsong.
