GF300i05 TURUS DHA 'N MHUILEANN-SHÀBHAIDH
Beulaiche: Seumas mac Aonghais 'ic Alasdair Iain | Jimmy Collins
Bàrd: John James Dunbar
Bha mar bhàirc, ged bha i [phiullach?],
Gur bochd a' sgeul bhiodh ann an-diugh,
Gum biodh an outlet fo lionn-dubh,
Nam biodh an caiptean bàite.
He [BREAK IN TAPE] —times in the fall,
That we were bound to go and haul,
[Shiongail 'ad?] for the outlet hall,
As a' mhuileann shàbhaidh.
Myself and Malcolm did agree,
Nach fhalbhadh duine dhachaidh fhìn,
Gun d' thuirt an Griogair bochd rium fhìn,
Gum bi sinn air ar pàigheadh.
We fed our horse with oats and hay,
And off we started break of day,
Gur beag bidh fios aig duine fhéin,
A' rud a bhios an dàn dha.
