Bha 'm pìobaire seo ag innse naidheachd eile dhomh mu dheidhinn là bha e na sheasamh anns a' chidsin anns an taigh aige fhèin agus an doras fosgailte null pìos, gèobadh math dheth fosgailte is esan a' cluich na pìoba. Agus dìreach nuair a bha e rèidh, chual' e fuaim air a chùlaibh, tighinn astigh dha 'n chidsin, agus nuair a thionndaidh e, bha ceathrar de shagairt nan seasamh 'staigh sa chidsin. Agus dh'fhaighneachd fear dheth gu dè 'm port brèagha a chluich e ann a' siud. Agus 's e 'n t-ainm Beurla bh' air a' phort, 'Devil's in the Kitchen.' Is dh'inns e dha 'n t-sagart an t-ainm a bh' air is thuirt fear aca, "Nach e," ars esan, "a bha dàna nuair a thàinig e dha 'n chidsin!" "An dà," ars esan, "bhiodh e gu math dàna dha tighinn dha 'n chidsin agamsa an dràsda agus ceithir sagairt a-staigh air thoiseach air!"

THE PIPER AND THE PRIESTS
This piper told me another story about a day when he was standing in the kitchen of his own house and the door open a bit, a good piece of it open while he played the pipes. And just as he finished, he heard a sound behind him coming into the kitchen, and when he turned around, there were four priests standing inside the kitchen. And one of them asked him what fine tune he had played there. And the English title of the tune was "Devil's in the Kitchen." He gave the name to the priest and one of them said, "Wasn't he bold to come into the kitchen!" "Indeed," said he, "he would be very bold to come into my kitchen right now with four priests in ahead of him!"
