Archibald MacDonald is a member of .
Gilleasbuig na Ceapaich (Archibald) was the second son of Alasdair Buidhe of Keppoch, and succeeded his father about 1665. He was the 15th chief of Keppoch and the father of Sileas na Ceapaich, the celebrated poetess. Gilleasbuig himself was a composer of many Gaelic songs. Allegedly, upon his death in 1682 or 1688, Iain Lom composed a splendid elegy for him.
