Our collections Colaisde na Gàidhlig / The Gaelic College holds a collection of commercial and non-commercial recordings of Scottish Gaelic songs, stories and instrumental music, mainly made in Nova Scotia, or by Nova Scotian Gaelic speakers living in the United States. We have an extensive collection of home recordings collected by Gaelic speakers themselves. We also hold copies of Gaelic language materials from the Beaton Institute in Sydney, N.S., Canada, and from the Laura Boulton Collection of World Music at the Archives of Traditional Music, Indiana University, in the U.S.
