Mary Lucy (MacNeil) Gillis
(1886-1972)

Sister to Stephen Rory and John Rory of Barra Glen, Mary Lucy was born about 1886 in Iona, Nova Scotia. She is the daughter of Michael MacNeil and Catherine Campbell. She married Hugh Gillis sometime before 1906 when their oldest son Dan was born. In 1921 she and Hugh were living in MacKinnon's Harbour with seven children.
