Notes 1 |
Uisdean Ros was from New Glasgow, Pictou . He travelled to London, Ontario in 1883 and procured a rooster and some hens. On his way back home he stopped in Rubha Lévi, Quebec where his rooster escaped his cage and proceeded to crow in the early hours of the morning. A friend composed this song about him and his rooster. |
