Notes 3 |
"Some years ago, a program with the misnomer "Cotters Saturday Night" was featured on the local radio station. The producer (an Englishman) had no respect or appreciation of Scottish culture, with the result that the program aroused such a storm of indignation that orders were issued by the C.B,B, to discontinue it. The late James Hugh, MacNeil and Joseph MacInnis (also deceased) were two stalwarts who worked unceasingly towards this goal. I was asked to commemorate the occasion by a suitable lampoon." |
