Notes 1 |
The following song was contained in a letter to Rev. A. Maclean Sinclair dated December 30th, 1896, currently held in the Nova Scotia Public Archives in Halifax. Dr. Michael Linkletter ran across the song in 2004 while working on his PhD. thesis on the Rev A. Maclean Sinclair. The title which the bard gave to the song was ‘Address to a May Flower.’ It was composed for the first Mayflower he had ever seen. |
